Ms. Ana Chu
Born and raised in the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam) all her life. Ana is a mom of two kids. Some of her hobbies include reading, gaming, and drawing.

Ana loves learning and engaging students to help them flourish and reach their full potential. She began her teaching career right after graduating from Simon Fraser University’s PDP teaching program in 2016. She has over five years of experience teaching elementary school students in British Columbia.
In 2019, Ana returned to SFU to pursue and complete her Master of Education degree in Educational Technology & Learning Designs. The focus of the program was on understanding and critically analyzing the impacts of technology and various learning designs on education. Her final master’s capstone project focused on researching and designing an after-school Minecraft program aimed at developing an authentic way to foster students’ cooperative play and digital citizenship skills.
Ana also earned a BC Post-graduate Certificate in English Language Learners from Queen’s University in 2023. The coursework focused on learning best teaching practices and strategies to help English Language Learners thrive in their learning environment.
